Pastor Robert Lee

Pastor Robert Lee is a native of Norfolk, VA. He was born June 14, 1950 to Mr. & Mrs. Willie Lee, Jr. and was educated in the Norfolk School system. After graduating from Maury High School in June 1968, he joined the U.S. Air Force in August, and was honorably discharged on July 10, 1970.

Pastor Lee accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on June 17, 1983 at Centennial Baptist Church. While attending Centennial Baptist Church, he served as an usher, van driver, Sunday School teacher, chairman of the Deacon Board and soul-winner.

He joined the Fairwood-Agape Baptist Church in September 1992 and was licensed to preach the gospel on September 10, 1995; He was ordained on August 19, 2001. Pastor Lee served as assistant pastor to Senior Pastor Robert L. Baker, Sr. and on February 10, 2002, was installed as the senior Pastor of Fairwood-Agape Baptist Church. He currently serves as an Adjunct Chaplain at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center.

Pastor Lee has received certificates in Christian Ministry and Ministry Training from Boyce Bible College, a division of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He has also received an Associates Degree in Pastoral Ministry from the Roanoke Theological Seminary in Elizabeth City, NC., and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Angelos Bible College, in Portsmouth, VA.

Pastor Lee is married to the former Valerie L. Ferebee, of Portsmouth, VA and has two sons, Danny and Matthew. They currently live in the Cavalier Manor section of Portsmouth.
